TC Productions - TC and Friends - Todd Canedy

TC & Friends are playing on March 13th at Othellos in Norman. YOU do not want to miss this.

I've made some new friends I'd like to show off. First off Lacy Saunders. CAN YOU SAY HOT?? She is a smokin hot singer that I'm sure you will enjoy. She has an incredibly strong colorful voice, a sense of time that wiil dazzle you, and such a high level of expression you may just have to leave the room for a minute to gain control of yourself. Yes she is that good.

Here is the standard verbiage for the not so hipsters:

Lacy Saunders is a 29 year-old singer/songwriter/farmkid from southwest Oklahoma.  Although her experience encompasses jazz, R&B, gospel, blues, soul, pop, and funk, she prefers to ignore the boundaries of genre in music (and everything else) and simply do what she loves to do.  You can catch her with several bands in the OKC area, including Powerhouz, the Groove Merchants, and Campari.

Next is Joe Gillian. A master of the low end with incredibly deep pockets. This man grooves in his sleep. It's rumored that he exhales groove. He's so groovy just being around him is worth ONE ...MILLION ....DOLLARS.

Born with a funk bone that just won't quit, Joe Gillian has been masterfully laying down the groove for 17 years. He has a bachelor's degree in music performance from UCO and has been teaching music since 1997, both privately and, more recently, at ACM@UCO in Bricktown.  Joe has performed with The Make, the Martini Kings, Ty England Band, Powerhouz, and is currently the bass player for the Groove Merchants (OKC). Joe also plays the ukulele, guitar, and even plays drums (when no one is looking).

What can I say about Greg Zink? Only good things. But to really get to know him you'll have to show up to the gig on March 13th.

Greg Zink is a classically trained pianist who began playing at the age of four.  Originally from Kansas, he relocated to Oklahoma to attend UCO.  After college, Greg toured the Caribbean and Mexico performing on cruise ships.  He later began playing with various bands in the metro area, such as the funk/soul group Powerhouz, and the jazz/fusion quartet Campari.  Although jazz is his first love, his proficiency and versatility make him an indispensable talent.

Come join TC &  Friends to see these amazing musicians on March 13th at Othellos in Norman.

Jazz is still alive and growing. There are thousands of great players and composers out there and it is our hope to bring a few to you this year that you will really enjoy.

This year we're adding a jazz video gallery to the site and the abiliity to listen to mp3s. We are considering a membership program for fans so you can have insight into upcoming production photos and recordings. 2010 should be an exciting year! We're looking forward to sharing it with you.
